Bayside can offer the choice between plastic or stainless steel chains, bottom trims. We can also motorise. Motorisation can be done in 2 ways;
Hard wire the motors so they can be operated via RTS with a remote control
Lithium battery - this can be charged once per year (based on the amount of times going up and down each day). Battery operated blinds are also controlled with a remote control.
Motorised blinds can be controlled with your mobile phone or a tablet from anywhere in the world that has wi-fi.

Our roller blinds are available in three fabric types: blockout (room-darkening), light filtering and sunscreen. Blockout is ideal for bedrooms and media rooms. Light filtering softens daylight while maintaining privacy. Sunscreen reduces glare and UV while keeping your view. For windows where you want both options, we supply double roller blinds that combine a blockout and sunscreen fabric on the same window.

Our roller blinds are available up to 3000mm wide and 3000mm high. Some fabrics span up to 3200mm wide. For openings wider than 3000mm, multiple roller blinds can be linked together for a seamless finish. Every blind is custom measured to your exact window.

Yes. Motorised roller blinds are available in two configurations: hardwired with RTS remote control, or lithium battery-operated. Motorised blinds can also be controlled via mobile phone or tablet over wi-fi. Motorisation is powered by Somfy, Australia's leading motorisation specialists. It is particularly useful for large windows, hard-to-reach windows, and homes with children and pets.

A double roller blind is two separate roller blinds mounted on the same window: typically one blockout and one sunscreen fabric. It gives you the flexibility to use a semi-transparent sunscreen blind during the day for glare control while keeping the view, and pull down the blockout blind at night for full privacy and darkness. It is one of the most popular configurations in bedrooms and living rooms.

Most roller blind fabrics can be cleaned while installed with a soft dry cloth or a vacuum using the upholstery attachment on low suction. For stains, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid soaking the fabric. We recommend checking the specific fabric care instructions we provide with your blinds, as blockout, light filtering and sunscreen fabrics each have slightly different care requirements.

Every roller blind we supply is custom made to your exact window measurements. You can choose the fabric type (blockout, light filtering or sunscreen), the fabric colour, the chain type (plastic or stainless steel), the bottom trim, and whether you want the blind hardwired or motorised. For motorised blinds you can also choose between RTS remote control or wi-fi/app control.

Once you approve the quote, your blinds are fabricated to order. Typical turnaround from approval to installation is two to three weeks. Most installations are completed in a single visit. If you need motorisation and wiring, we coordinate that with the installation so it is all done at once.
